Artistically they aim for a unique approach to highlight and honour these young women\u2019s incandescent courage and invincible spirit to survive. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8216;comfort girls\u2019 were women and girls who were kidnapped or coerced into \u201ccomfort stations\u201d for sexual slavery before and during WWII by the Imperial Japanese Army.
