The flock of sheep, as the only<\/p>\n<p>motif of the work floods the entire surface of the canavas. In<\/p>\n<p>the perspective of close and expressed foreground it seems as if<\/p>\n<p>the sheep will slip off the edge of the painting and the chosen<\/p>\n<p>colors summon up the effect of contrasting black and white,<\/p>\n<p>white fleece and black shadow, also present in black and white<\/p>\n<p>photography, puts animals in a pastoral setting, thus creating<\/p>\n<p>an atmosphere of slight anxiety and uneasiness, insecurity and<\/p>\n<p>uncertainity,\u00a0 giving a meaning to the saying &#8220;the lost sheep&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Text by Branka Bencic<\/p>\n\n<div
