Flutist Laura Falzon<\/b> together with pianist Daniel Beliavsky<\/b> perform a program of works for flute and piano, including works by George Crumb, Marin, Marias, David Del Tredici, C\u00e9sar Franck and Ned Rorem. <\/b><\/p>\n

Falzon and Beliavsky perform regularly as a Duo often performing American composers\u2019 works. <\/b>Flutist Laura<\/b> Falzon<\/b> who has premiered numerous works including pieces by Halim El-Dabh, Theodore Wiprud, Mohammed Fairouz, Dai Fujikura, Alice Shields and Bushra El-Turk, plays with \u201cexuberance\u201d and \u201cpoise\u201d\u2028 according to composer Halim El-Dabh who adds that her \u201cflute\u2019s voice seems to come from the heart\u201d. \u00a0Her passion and verve to promote and perform new music has been acknowledged many times–the Journal of the British flute Society described her as\u00a0 \u201cfearless in tackling and promoting it\u201c. Pianist Daniel Beliavsky<\/b>, is also an avid performer of music of the modern era. He has also performed and recorded many American composers\u2019 works including works by David Del Tredici, Donald Harris, Milton Babbitt, and Lukas Foss whose first complete collection of solo piano music he recorded. Daniel\u2019s interpretations have been hailed as fresh and exciting., and The Chicago tribune said that he performs\u00a0 \u201cwith impressive strength and Clarity\u201d.<\/p>\n
