It consists of two distinguished Macedonian cellists \u2013 Bozidar Pejic and Aleksandar Kotevski, both of them principals of the cellists with the orchestra of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet. So far, their fruitful cooperation has produced several concerts both in Macedonia and abroad. The duo has performed in Skopje (at the \u201cAutumn Music Festivities\u201d) in Bitola (at \u201cBitFest\u201d) in Kumanovo, Veles, Negotino in the Republic of Macedonia and at the international festival \u201cConstantinus\u201d in Nis and the \u201cCultural Summer\u201d in Paracin in the Republic of Serbia. Gardel: \u00a0Por una cabeza<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Bozidar Pejic <\/b>completed his elementary and secondary education at the School for Music Talents in Cuprija in the classes of Professors Francois Jakovcic and Bozo Saramandic. He graduated form the Faculty of\u00a0 Musical Art in Skopje in the class of Professor Duska Taseska.<\/p>\n<p>He has performed as a soloist with the orchestra of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet and with the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra. Noted are his recitals performed in Skopje, Kumanovo and Gevgelija in the Republic of Macedonia and in Kraguejvac, Cuprija, Paracin in the Republic of Serbia, as well his performances as a soloist at the Skopje Summer Festival, the \u201cDays of Macedonian Music\u201d, the \u201cAutumn Music Festivities,\u201d the \u201cBalkan Forum\u201d, the \u201cKamerFest\u201d and others<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his soloist performances, he is actively involved in chamber music and has performed many concerts (over a hundred) with the string quartet Gajdov both in the Republic of Macedonia and in many other European music centers in Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia and other countries. He is also a member of the international cello quartet Cellisimo.<\/p>\n<p>He is the founder of the piano trio Ad Libitum, which has performed well received concerts throughout the region. He is also part of the Cello dup of Pejic-Kotevski, which has performed in several cities and towns in the Republic of Macedonia (Skopje, Kumanovo, Veles, Bitola) as well as at festivals in the Republic of Serbia (\u201cCultural Summer\u201d in Paracin, \u201cConstantinus\u201d Festival in Nis).<\/p>\n<p>He is a permanent member of the string quartet AXIOS, with which he has published a recording for RAI-Trade in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>As the principal of the cellists of the orchestra of the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of the Macedonian Philharmonic, the Chamber Orchestra of the Macedonian Radio and Television, the Ensemble for Contemporary Music \u201cSt Sofia\u201d he has performed numerous concerts both in the Republic of Macedonia and throughout Europe.<\/p>\n<p>At present Pejic is the principal of the cellists of the orchestra of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2012 he has been a regular member of the Balkan \u201cNo Borders Orchestra\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his performing career, Pejic has been teaching cello at the State Music and Ballet School \u201cIlija Nikolovski-Luj\u201d in Skopje for 20 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><b style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Aleksandar Kotevski<\/b><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">\u00a0has completed his graduate studies in the class of professor Duska Tasevska and has received a MA in cello performance in the class of professor Zivko Firfov at the Faculty of Music in Skopje. He has attended master classes with exceptional professors such as: Kiril Kravcov, Alexandar Rudin, Kiril Rodin,David Gregorijan, Astrit Selita and chamber music masterclasses under the leadership of the Medicci quartet and Jeniffer W. Clark of the Royal academy of music in London.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>He has won various prizes at chamber music competitions, and has performed as soloists with the Chamber orchestra of the Faculty of music,Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, Mostar Symphony Orchestra etc.. He has worked at the Macedonian philharmonic, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchetra as principal cellist from 2003-2007.
