Box 1607<br \/>\nNew York, NY 10101<br \/>\n<a href=\"mailto:support@voxnovus.com\" target=\"_blank\">support@voxnovus.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Spanning I-95, Circuit Bridges Connects Electroacoustic Music from NYC to<br \/>\nRaleigh<\/p>\n<p>September 25, 2014\u00a0(NEW YORK, NEW YORK) Circuit Bridges is launching its<br \/>\nsecond season by collaborating with Arts NOW at North Carolina State<br \/>\nUniversity to present a program featuring electroacoustic music from New<br \/>\nYork and North Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Rodney Waschka (North Carolina State University) and Travis Garrison (East<br \/>\nCarolina University) are curating new fixed media works that will be<br \/>\npresented alongside selections from Circuit Bridges&#8217; recent call for works.<\/p>\n<p>The Arts NOW Series at North Carolina State University presents concerts,<br \/>\nlectures, and other performing arts events for the University community and<br \/>\nthe general public. The Arts NOW Series programs feature contemporary work<br \/>\nin the arts: new works, new techniques, new interpretations and contexts,<br \/>\nand new connections to older work. Previous presentations have included<br \/>\neverything from opera premieres to events based on video works to piano<br \/>\nlecture-recitals on mathematics and music to a special event related to<br \/>\nglobal climate change.<\/p>\n<p>Circuit Bridges is dedicated to highlighting the community of<br \/>\nelectroacoustic music creators.\u00a0 Founded in 2014 by Robert Voisey and under<br \/>\nthe artistic direction of David Morneau and Melissa Grey, Circuit Bridges<br \/>\nstrives to explore all music under the electroacoustic umbrella. This<br \/>\nincludes but not limited to sonic art, radio art, glitch, circuit bending,<br \/>\nelectronica, real-time improvisation, network performance, audiovisual<br \/>\ncomposition, mash-up, and data sonification.
