{"id":5600,"date":"2007-05-09T14:02:59","date_gmt":"2007-05-09T19:02:59","guid":{"rendered":"\/h\/?p=5600"},"modified":"2016-09-06T14:07:27","modified_gmt":"2016-09-06T19:07:27","slug":"5600-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gallerymc.org\/h\/5600-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Mine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>May 9th, 2007- May 19th, 2007<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: xx-small;\">Parsons Department of Fine Arts<br \/>\nBFA Thesis Exhibition 2007<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: xx-small;\"><b>MINE<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>NEW YORK &#8211; Parsons The New School for Design proudly presents an exhibition of work by the 13 graduating artists from its BFA Fine Arts program, on view at MC Gallery from May 9th \u2013May 19th. <b>An opening reception will be held Wednesday, May 9th, from 6 \u2013 8pm. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u201cMINE:<\/b> that or those belonging to me; the possessive of I\u201d.<br \/>\n<i>This word, and the title of the exhibition, epitomizes the individuality and diversity of these students\u2019 works. Each has established their own art making voice, their own uniqueness of thinking and image making. The exhibition highlights the complexity of the unique voice in today\u2019s art world by showing how these artists think about and produce their work.
