This year the band LUBOYNA celebrates its 15th<\/sup> ANNIVERSARY and for this special occasion, we\u2019d like to share with you the joy of our music which for the past few years became a sensation that field many local and worldwide concert halls bringing together more than 50000 people, reached to the hearts of many people, made a bridge among them connecting different age generations with a different taste for music and made them sing in one voice. LUBOYNA combines all expressive filings and sounds like joy, sorrow, euphoria, intensity, chill out, pop, passion, funk, soul, folk, oriental, belly dance, jazz, orthodox glamour\u2026 Including many musical styles inside and traveling thru all the music meridians it\u2019s a real musical worldwide journey which culminates with our latest album \u201cRADIO LUBOYNA\u201d 2016. What makes this sound so powerful and original is that this journey finishes in a most exciting and most exquisite music spot of the Balkans making it \u201csunny\u201c and \u201caromatic\u201c.<\/p>\n

The band LUBOYNA, as one of the most popular and most representative bands of the region, most authentically conveys the pulse of the traditional sound in to, not just urban, but also worldwide sound impassionedly performed in all its forms: its traditional one, its popular, classical, experimental one. Since 2001 vocalist Vera Miloshevska (also known as \u201cVera the nightingale\u201d, among the critics) and composer Oliver Josifovski (arrangements, double bass, drums,) play the main roll in this band, constantly refreshing its music to a modern, powerful and most elegant and energetic sound at the same time. They provide it by collaborating with many musicians, such as: Ismail Lumanovski (clarinetist – NY Gipsi All Stars), Vlatko Stefanovski (guitar \u2013 Vlatko Stefanovski trio), Jumbo Agushev (trumpet \u2013 Agushevi orchestra), Husnu Shenlendiridji (clarinet \u2013 Taksim trio), Muammer Ketendjoglu (accordion), Vasil Hadjimanov (piano). Ljubojna stands behind over 300 concerts and over 70 theater projects, performances, bale and also makes music for film. Vera\u2019s voice can be heard on the sound track of the films \u201cBalcancan\u201d and \u201cHow I killed a saint\u201d. Since 2001 the band performs in many music festivals and theater festivals in: Toronto, New York, Moscow, Istanbul, Venice, Niamey, Marseille, Paris, Ljubljana, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Thessaloniki, Sophia, Beijing, etc.<\/p>\n

In 2012 Vera Miloshevska was chosen as one of the 12 Best Balkan singers who take part in an international music project along with Esma Rezdepova, “Les femmes des Balkans” implemented by RCC.<\/p>\n
