Pianist Nina Kostova<\/strong> was born in Skopje, Macedonia in 1981 and began her musical education in the class of Ljudmila Romanova. Nina graduated Cum Laude<\/i> in the class of the eminent Professor B. A. Romanov at the Academy of Music in Skopje and in 2006 earned her Master\u2019s degree. <\/span><\/p>\n

Nina Kostova is the winner of many international awards, amongst which are the top prizes at the competitions in: Senegalia, Italy; Ibla, Italy; Andorra; multiple awards at the National competitions in Macedonia etc.  <\/span><\/p>\n

She has performed in recital in: France, Italy, England, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia\u2026 Nina has also performed as soloist with the chamber orchestras Moscovia<\/i> and Sv<\/i>. <\/i>Gjorgje<\/i> at the international Ohrid Summer Festival, as well as multiple times with the Macedonian Philharmonic and Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra.  <\/span><\/p>\n

At the moment, Nina Kostova works as professor of piano at the Academy of Music in Skopje.  <\/span><\/p>\n

GORDANA JOSIFOVA NEDELKOVSKA, OBOIST <\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

‘The performance of the oboist, Gordana Josifova Nedelkovska, calmed  <\/em><\/p>\n

me down. She is so attentive, eloquent and precise in the expression, I  <\/em><\/p>\n

was excited when I heard her. I didn\u2019t expect to hear such performance.’ \u2013  <\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/span>Prof. Gordana Josifova Nedelkovska<\/strong> MA graduated at the Faculty of Music -Skopje in  <\/span><\/p>\n

the class of Prof. Kiro Davidovski. She specialized at the Mozart Academy in Warsaw,  <\/span><\/p>\n

Poland and was a full scholarship student at BANFF Center for Music and Sound in  <\/span><\/p>\n

Canada. She has been the recipient of many awards at national and international  <\/span><\/p>\n

competitions.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Josifova-Nedelkovska has performed as soloist with numerous established orchestras  <\/span><\/p>\n

such as: the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Chapel of Saint Petersburg, the  <\/span><\/p>\n

chamber orchestra Musica Viva under the baton of the prominent conductor and cellist  <\/span><\/p>\n

Alexander Rudin, Servantes Philharmonics from Spain, The Yucatan Symphony  <\/span><\/p>\n

Orchestra from Yucatan, Mexico, The Kimy Sinfonieta from Finland, Austria\u2019s Villah  <\/span><\/p>\n

Philharmonics, the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra from the Czech Republic, the  <\/span><\/p>\n

Tallinn Sinfonietta from Estonia, the Symphonic Orchestra of Rome, the Symphonic  <\/span><\/p>\n

Orchestra of Belgrade, the string chamber orchestra of the Slovenian Philharmonic, the  <\/span><\/p>\n

chamber orchestra Sofia Soloists, the orchestra of the Macedonian Philharmonic,  <\/span><\/p>\n

Macedonian Chamber Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra St. George\u2019s Strings, the  <\/span><\/p>\n

orchestra of Avignon \u2013 Provence, Chamber Orchestra of Porto Alegre \u2013 Brazil, United  <\/span><\/p>\n

Europe Chamber Orchestra. She has performed recitals in Canada, USA, Brazil, Mexico,  <\/span><\/p>\n

China, Estonia, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Germany,  <\/span><\/p>\n

Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine (performing with the renowned violinist Nigel  <\/span><\/p>\n

Kennedy), Finland, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia,  <\/span><\/p>\n

Montenegro and Macedonia, performing in venues such as: Verdi in Milano, the  <\/span><\/p>\n

auditorium S. Margherita in Venice, Botteghino Auditorium Conciliazione in Rome, the  <\/span><\/p>\n

prestigious Smetana Hall in Prague, Czech Republic, etc. Gordana\u2019s repertoire ranges  <\/span><\/p>\n

from the early Baroque until the contemporary composers, including numerous works  <\/span><\/p>\n

that have been premiered by her, as well as multiple works by Macedonian composers.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Of great importance is the invitation of the legendary Ennio Morricone in 2009, for  <\/span><\/p>\n

Gordana to perform under his baton at the Ohrid Summer Festival.  <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

After her very successful performance at the festival Art November in Moscow in  <\/span><\/p>\n

2011, Gordana was described by the critics as poetess of the oboe. Josifova- <\/span><\/p>\n

Nedelkovska now regularly performs in Russia, at festivals such as the Bach Marthon  <\/span><\/p>\n

in 2011  <\/span><\/p>\n

and Mozart Marathon in 2014, sharing the stage of the renowned Bolshoy Zal  <\/span><\/p>\n

with artists such as: Peter Laul, Alexander Gindin, Aleksey Volodin, Ilya Gringolts,  <\/span><\/p>\n

Christopher Taylor etc.  <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

What makes her persona complete are undoubtedly her organizational skills. In the  <\/span><\/p>\n

past Gordana has undertaken a number of important positions, such as: President of  <\/span><\/p>\n

Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia, Head of the Department for wind instruments at the  <\/span><\/p>\n

Faculty of music \u2013 Skopje, Vice Dean of the Faculty of music \u2013 Skopje and a member of  <\/span><\/p>\n

the senate of the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje for two turns. In 2005  <\/span><\/p>\n

she was appointed as President of the Commission for Culture and Sport at the  <\/span><\/p>\n

University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, and by suggestion of the University she  <\/span><\/p>\n

has been selected as a member of the Council of the Macedonian National Television.  <\/span><\/p>\n

In 2008, Josifova-Nedelkovska was awarded a plaque in recognition for contributions  <\/span><\/p>\n

to the promotion of the University in the country and abroad. As a member, she is  <\/span><\/p>\n

engaged in several other boards, including the board of the national award Saint  <\/span><\/p>\n

Kliment Ohridski and since 2014 the board of the national award Mother Teresa. During  <\/span><\/p>\n

the period 2001-2003 she was the Chairman of the Board and also the Music Selector  <\/span><\/p>\n

of the Ohrid Summer Festival, once again being appointed as a Music Selector in 2007.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Her work is of \u2022 particular importance to the culture in Macedonia. Therefore, she has  <\/span><\/p>\n

been awarded multiple awards, among which is the award 13 November, which in 2009  <\/span><\/p>\n

was presented by the City of Skopje for high achievements on the international music  <\/span><\/p>\n

scene, and also in 2016, the prestigious national award St. Kliment Ohridski for her  <\/span><\/p>\n

extraordinary work in the fields of culture and art. In 2015 she was awarded the  <\/span><\/p>\n

Recognition of Knight in Arts by the French Ministry of Culture for her contribution in  <\/span><\/p>\n

promoting the French culture in Macedonia.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Her success has been recognized by a world known Institute as well \u2013 in 2004 the  <\/span><\/p>\n

Editorial council of the American Biography Institute nominated her in the category  <\/span><\/p>\n

Successful woman of the 21st century. In their publication, which contained  <\/span><\/p>\n

biographies and works of powerful and creative women in their respective countries,  <\/span><\/p>\n

Josifova-Nedelkovska was selected as an artist and teacher who has left deep marks  <\/span><\/p>\n

in the Macedonian society. \u2018She is one of the most successful women of the 21st  <\/span><\/p>\n

century\u2019, therefore the younger generations should take her example and use it as a  <\/span><\/p>\n

way to show them how to better shape their futures.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Gordana Josifova-Nedelkovska is a professor at the Faculty of music \u2013 Skopje,  <\/span><\/p>\n

teaching Oboe, Chamber music and Methodology of teaching wind instruments. In the  <\/span><\/p>\n

academic year of 2009\/2010 she was elected as Dean of the Faculty of Music in  <\/span><\/p>\n

Skopje, and in 2013 she was reelected for another mandate. In September 2016,  <\/span><\/p>\n

Gordana was elected as a Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the Ss. Cyril and  <\/span><\/p>\n

Methodius University in Skopje.  <\/span><\/p>\n
