Curriculum Vitae

     Bajram Xhelili; Academic graphic artist, born 1969 in Gostivar, R.Macedonia. Graduated at the University of Sarajevo, HMS department of Radiology. Graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, department of graphics, the class of Professor Hozo. In 2006 started his postgraduate studies at the faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje, department of graphics. Has participated in several joint exhibitions, in and outside the country, internationals biennial and triennials of graphic art. Prizewinner at several artistic competitions.
     Currently acts and works as a free graphic artist, inspired and with a great esthetical-artistic interest, curious in the experimental failed, considering technology (with different chemical and natural materials) forming the idea and expression of the graphical project.
      It is all done by the purpose of improving the skills and independence in the tradition of artistic forms, through which he develops more sense in cultivating specials elements, and organizing the expression tools of the graphical media.
      Through this the graphic artist thinks, analyzes, and conceptually decides the problem of art, by building and forming a clear attitude towards the techniques of graphics, finding the research projects which might be with different background, to the irrational game inspired with this traditional artistic elements which articulate in the modern artistic movement.
      He also works with traditional Japanese paper, which tendency is currently of a great interest. This interest is based in some changes from technical to artistic, especially when it is performed by the graphical artist on his own. In this case it is connected in organic way with the project and idea.

Valuable metaphysical and esthetic exhibition of the nature

The young author, Bajram Xhelili was attending my classes of Esthetics in the postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts. He was not only the best student with outstanding cultural and literal qualities but also a pronounced creator who forms the different intellectual and artistic experiences with a great talent and technical-technological excellence. In each contact with the art and sacred various educations, he is able turn them into a new complex impulse for creation. There are rare cases of such young authors whose wide knowledge of arts and its processes produce real authentic expression. Considering this fact, Bajram Xhelili is one of the best and the most original young authors of our region.
The esthetical and metaphysical attitude is emphasized in Mr. Xhelili’s work. He admires the nature. In his work, he does not only express its beauty, but he also renovates the creative and esthetic energy of the nature, its comprehension and ultimate power. His graphics bear witness about his ability to know the depth of the nature. They also witness about his engagement to catch its brightness and until know he has been able to discover the most important nests of the world and life. In Mr. Xhelili’s work you can experience the deep conception of the nature’s existence with its potentials, complex lines of motion; you can see the miscellaneous kinds of the element as well as participate in the beauty of the hidden sources of natural forms.
This splendid knowledge is a source for the valuable and classical artistic work, in particular for the most beautiful contemporary artistic works.These philosophical thoughts are multiplied with Mr. Xhelili’s artistic experiences, which are considered in different aspects of vision. He was cordially discovering multisided secrets of arts, from the West and East, from the academic to the free composition, from the school instruction and personal applied activities, and from the graphics and paintings in parallel. By experiencing these practical and esthetic resources, with his happy eyes and open mind, Mr. Xhelili was able to realize his creative gifts in many works followed by esthetic qualities and artistic value.
The exhibition in New York will enable the young author, Bajram Xhelili, to broaden and develop his artistic potentials, and it will also enable the audience of art- lovers to be introduced with the artistic creations of a rare and very talented author.
