“To connect the natural with the artistic process.”
Biophilia is the profound love for all that is alive, growing, and evolving, representing a fundamental human need for a connection with nature.
Djordje Stanojevic seamlessly intertwines natural processes with artistic expression, driven by his innate human desire to reconnect with the natural flow. This reconnection is achieved through art, where his intention is to establish a dialogue with nature while painting under the open sky.
To achieve this, he employs natural materials and allows the powerful forces of nature to shape the creative process. Rather than restraining them, he follows their lead, stepping into the unknown. During these moments, he becomes a part of the natural flow, and his paintings are a tangible result of that immersive dialogue with nature.
