Trio Academiko featuring Flute, Clarinet and Piano

Monday, June 22nd from 7 pm: Zlatka Miteva n Flute, Natasha Trbojevikj on Piano and Branko Pavlovski on Clarinet

Zlatka Miteva is Flute Professor at the Music Academy of the Goce Delcev University in Stip, Macedonia. She is an active soloist and chamber musician who has performed internationally in the United States, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Turkey, Croatia, Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia, Slovenia and Macedonia.

She graduated from the National Music Academy Pancho Vladigerov in Sofia, Bulgaria in the class of Professor Lydia Oshavkova. Having completed her master studies at the same Music Academy, Ms. Miteva was awarded the title of concert soloist.

Zlatka Miteva pursued professional advancement at courses held by eminent flautists and professors Andras Adorian, Phillipe Bernold, Patrick Gallois, Lydia Oshavkova, Marina Novak, Claudio Ferrarini and Mario Caroli. As a recepient of scholarship of the Accademia Italiana Del Flauto, Ms Miteva attended a specialist course on Flautissimo 2013 in Rome, Italy.

Zlatka Miteva was the winner of numerous national and international awards. As a soloist, Ms. Miteva has had performances with the Macedonian Symphony Orchestra, Sofia Academic Symphony Orchestra, Vraca Symphony Orchestra and Tirana Academic Symphony Orchestra.  Zlatka Miteva took part in reputed music festivals in Italy (Flautissimo), in Croatia (Dubrovnik Music Festivals, InterFox Festival in Osijek), in Slovenia (First European Picollo Festivals Flauta and Me), in Bulgaria (Appolonia Music Festivals, European Music Festival in Varna, International Festival, March Music Days in Ruse, Francofon festival in Sozopol), in Macedonia (InterFest, ProMusica, Zlatna Lira, Skopje Summer Fest, Stip Summer Fest, Bitola Summer Fest) and other European countries. In 2010, Zlatka Miteva created TRIO ACADEMICO (flute, clarinet and piano). She is also a member of the Ensemble of Contemporary Music ConTempora. She is a winner of the state award “Georgi Bozhikov” and an honorary member of the Foundation ” Zografski Tomislav “. In 2017 she released a CD (Music for flute and piano by Macedonian authors) together with the pianist Natasha Trbojevikj and in 2024 with her chamber trio TRIO ACADEMICO.

Natasha Trbojevikj is a distinguished Macedonian pianist and pedagogue. She initiated her formative musical training in Shtip before pursuing advanced studies at the Faculty of Music Art at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, earning her undergraduate degree under Prof. Lepsha Piperkovska and her Master of Music degree in piano performance under the academic mentorship of Prof. Evushka Trpkova Elezovikj. Throughout her professional career, Trbojevikj has been distinguished as the recipient of numerous awards at piano competitions.

As an active concert artist and chamber musician, she maintains an extensive performing career encompassing solo recitals and collaborative engagements with prominent artists including Branko Pavlovski, Blagica Poptomova, Karel Dohnal, and Angela Bratić, as well as the Trbojevikj-Nastovski piano duo. As a constituent of the Miteva-Trbojevikj duo, she has performed to critical acclaim across international cultural centers in Kassel, Sofia, New York, Rome, and Istanbul. Under the auspices of the duo, she has been featured at prominent regional events, including the Flute Meeting & Festival in Zagreb, Novi Sad, and Ljubljana, as well as major national festivals in Ohrid, Kochani, Strumica, Tetovo, Veles, and Shtip.

Since 2011, Trbojevikj has been a permanent member of the chamber ensemble Trio Academico, performing at prestigious festivals including Modoars, Skopsko Leto, Zlatna Lira, Pro Musica, and the Magical Flute festival in Tirana, Albania. Her ensemble engagements further extend to international appearances across Osijek, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Sozopol, Sofia, Pécs, and Budapest. In recognition of her exceptional contributions to the musical arts, she was honored with the prestigious “Georgi Bozhikov” state award (2020) and is an honorary member of the “Tomislav Zografski” Foundation. Her discography features a 2015 release of Baroque chamber literature, a 2017 archival CD of contemporary Macedonian flute and piano works, and a 2024 collaborative album entitled Music from the World Classics. Currently, Natasha Trbojevikj holds the academic rank of Full Professor at the Music Academy of the Goce Delchev University in Shtip.

Branko Pavlovski is a Macedonian clarinetist with international career and reputation. He recently performed several critically acclaimed concerts in Europe and USА. After a recital in Paris, he won a critical acclaim for his performance, ”…Pavlovski showed that he is a clarinet virtuoso…with impressive tonal beauty and musical expression…” He is an active soloist and chamber musician who has performed internationally in the United States, France, England, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Croatia, Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia and Macedonia. 

Pavlovski joined the faculty at University Goce Delcev School of Music as a Full Professor of Clarinet. While pursuing the Doctorate of Musical Arts degree at Louisiana State University, USA, he was a teaching assistant for Robert DiLutis. Previously, Pavlovski served as a clarinet teacher at the National Music and Ballet Educational Center in Skopje, Macedonia. 

Pavlovski studied at Louisiana State University (DMA), National Music Academy in Sofia (MM), Ss. Cyril & Methodius University in Skopje (MM, BM), Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, and Conservatoire National de Region de Versailles, Conservatoire National de Region Ville d’Avrey in Paris. During his education Pavlovski had the privilege to study under renowned clarinet teachers such as Robert DiLutis, Phillipe Cuper, Dominique Vidal, Petko Radev, Stepan Koutnik, Ivan Kocarov, and Ljupcho Trenchevski.

Pavlovski held the principal clarinet position with the Macedonian Army Orchestra. Other orchestral experience includes appearances with Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Acadiana Symphony, Opera Louisiane, Mozart Orchestra Prague, FAME’S Macedonian Symphonic Orchestra, Skopje Soloists and the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also worked with some leading chamber ensembles: Ensemble Polyphony, Skopje woodwind quintet, Nova quintet, Art quintet, LSU Chamber Music Series, and Ensemble de Atelier de Musique Contemporaine de Conservatoire de Versailles. 

Pavlovski is laureate of a few national and international music competitions and was awarded with Golden Lyre Award for outstanding musical achievements by the Macedonian Asociation of Performing Artists, “8 October” award for promotion of music and culture, LSU music award, “26 July” award and Gold medal for academic excellence.
