BIOGRAPHY

Nita Grubi was born in Skopje in 1995, in a family of musicians.

Nita finished primary music school in the class Prof. Ludmilla Romanova and immediately after that she finishes the first year of secondary education in the class of prof. S.A. Cadikovska continuing in the class of prof. Danica Stojanova at the “Ilija Nikolovski -Luj” school in Skopje with success. During this period Nita was the winner of several first prizes as participant of international competitions ARS KOSOVA-Prishtina in 2006, 2008 and 2011. She was also a participant of competitions organized by the Association of Music and Ballet Associates (SHPMB), with the second reward in 2007 in Bitola, the second prize in the chamber music duo of 2011 in Skopje, and in 2012 with special prize for chamber duo. In 2012 he participated in the EPTA international competitions in Tirana, winning the first prize and special prize for the performance of W.A.Mozart (DuPort Variations). Afterwards Nita received the first prize in Skopje at the third state competition “Harmonia”.

One of the greatest successes Nita reached at the prestigious international competitions in Slovenia (Idrija) in 2013, where she receives the second prize in the highest category of excellence, as well as the special reward for the execution of works by S. Rachmaninoff and D Scarlet by the prominent pianist Arbo Valdma.

Also in the framework of international competitions The new 2013 pianist Nita Grubi received the first prize and special prize for interpretation with the Kosovo Philharmonic where she performed on piano and orchestra concerto by Edvard Grieg in a-mol, in 2014.

In April 2016 Nita was rewarded with the second prize in polyphonic competitions within the faculty of music in Skopje with the work of French J.S.Bach no.3 in c-mol

She is a regular participant of seminars of prominent pedagogues and pianists: A. Valdma, A.Gindin, A.Serdar, A. Madzar, J.Kott, D.Han, L.Romanova, R. Jascha, S. Prutman, N. Tomic etc.

From 2014 she continues her studies at the Musical Arts Faculty “Kiril and Metodij” -Shkup in the class of prof. Dr. Marija Gjoshevska where she finished her master degree.

Since 2015 she has been active with solo/ recital concerts both inside and outside the country. Skopje, Tetovo, Pristina, Gjakova, Zagreb, Tirana etc. 

She is active also as piano accompanist of many instrumentalists inside and outside the country. She is currently a co-founder of the women’s choir of the Center for Culture in R. of Macedonia and works as Piano professor and accompanist at state music school  ,,Ilija Nikolovski- Luj” in Skopje. 

In 2018, together with her father Blerim Grubi – violist, formed the association for culture and classical music called  “MUZA”.

Lek Grubi was born in Skopje in 1999, in a musical family.

He starts primary music school in the class of prof. Valjon Krueziu and finishes it in the class of prof. Cvetanka Debarlieva, where he begins his first year in music secondary education – DMBUC “Ilia Nikolovski- Luj”. Then he continues his secondary education in the class of Prof. Rumen Dimitrijev with excellent success. During this period he was active in violin and chamber music competitions, where he won several prizes. In 2010 in the assembly of the association of directors of the music and ballet schools of Macedonia, he won the second prize. In 2011 won first place at the State Competition organized by the Association of Music and Ballet Educators in Macedonia (EMCY) as well as third prize in chamber music for string quartet. In 2013, he won the third prize at a state competition for pupils and students. To participate in the patriotic celebration “DAYS OF ST. MOTHER TERESA” receives a certificate of appreciation for his contribution. In October 2018, he participated with the German Rhine Philharmonic, the concert was held in Skopje, the National Philharmonic and in the House of Culture in Tetovo. He attends seminars with top violinist pedagogues: A. Kontrandenko, Sihana Badivuku, Walter Schreiber, Jovan Bogosavljevich, Daniel Garlitsky, Erika Geldsetzer, Rudens Turku, Tedi Papavrami. Since 2017, he has been a regular student in the class of Prof. Ljubisa Kirovski at the “Kiril and Methodius” Faculty of Music in Skopje. He participated in a violin masterclass in “Bozsok Music Festival 2018” with the famous violinist Erika Geldsetzer, who teaches at the State University of Berlin, participated in a violin masterclass at “Musiktage Seefeld 2019” with the famous violinist Rudens Turku who teaches at the State University of Munich. He participated in a violin masterclass at “Musiktage Seefeld 2021” with the famous violinist Rudens Turku who teaches at the State University of Munich. In June 2019, he performed a recital concert with a program of A. Peqi, V. Mozart, A. Vivaldi, in the “Daut Pashin Amam” National Gallery. In November 2021, he has realized a recital concert with a program of M. Bruh and L. van Beethoven, in the Information Cultural Center KIC 19:19, in Skopje. In July 2022, he performed a chamber concert with the program V.A. Mozart – string quartet no. 20 within the “Opus 74 – Academy of Arts” festival in Flaine, France. His first cycle of studies ends in September 2022 University of St. Cyril and Methodius at the Faculty of Musical Arts Skopje, in the class of prof. Ljubisa Kirovski.
