The Macedonian Brass Quintet is an ensemble formed in 2017 as an initiative for making music in the most famous format for chamber music for brass instruments. The members of the quintet are:

Dragan Mladenoski – trumpet (principal trumpet of the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, a long-time member of the MRTV Big Band as well as an active collaborator with prominent musical names).

Aleksandar Zlateski – trumpet (principal trumpet in the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, long-time member of the Skopje City Orchestra and the MRTV Big Band).

Antonio Kostevski – horn (principal horn player of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, former first horn player of the Sofia Opera, as well as permanent collaborator of the FAMES orchestra).

Dimche Belchovski – trombone (principal trombone player of the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, professor of trombone,tuba and chamber music at the Faculty of Music Arts-Skopje and professor of trombone and tuba at the national music school DMBUC “Ilija Nikolovski Luj”).

Micko Damnjanovski – tuba (tubist at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, long-term external collaborator of the City Wind Orchestra, National Philharmonic Orchestra).

In its rich history, the ensemble performed several performances from which the most significant are:

International concerts:
New York City, USA in 2018 and 2019, Istanbul, Turkey in 2021,
Sofia, Bulgaria in 2022,
Massignano, Italy in 2023,
Paris,France during the Olympic Games 2024,

Zagreb, Croatia and Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2024,

Ravenna, Italy in 2025 etc…

The series of concerts in homeland Macedonia include:

Berovo (Museum of Berovo), Kočani (House of Culture Beli Mugri”),

Skopje (Hall of the Macedonian Philharmonic), Shtip, Negotino, Kumanovo, Ohrid, Resen, Vinica, Bitola etc.

The repertoire of the Macedonian Brass Quintet ranges through different musical genres, from samba to film music and from traditional Macedonian folk music. In addition to the concerts, the quintet also organizes educational gatherings, with the aim of getting to know and bring the brass instruments closer to the audience.
