U.S. support in reconstructing the city of Skopje
The city of Skopje is the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. Skopje abounds with significant cultural heritage – historical monuments. The rapid and advanced development of the city was disrupted by the catastrophic earthquake which struck the city on July 26th, 1963.
In this exhibition photos are presented of the earthquake, and post-earthquake life, and reflected US aid for reconstruction of the city.
