Penn 65000 Club is an experimental metal band formed by visual artist Yoichiro Yoda.

The band’s song themes range from 1920’s silent films, Film Noir, Coney Island, and a play called “The Iceman Cometh” by Eugene O’Neill.

Influences include 1920’s crooners like Al Jolson, and Al Bowlly, and 1980’s hard rock and heavy metal bands such as Judas Priest and Def Leppard.

The band is known to do special tributes during their shows to the late great Steve Steamin’ Clark of Def Leppard.

The band has just released a new CD, called Pipe Dream.

Now available at Printed Matter Book store.
