Yoana Strateva in Concert

MC Mondays is now MC Mill and we continue our series on selected nights and with a modified programming design.

We proudly continue on Saturday, July 14th at 7PM presenting a renowned violinist Yoana Strateva, playing an enchanting proigram of works by B. Douno, J.S. Bach, N. Paganini, F. Schubert, G. Pugnini

Yoana will be joined by her guest, violinist Svetla Kalcheva for a set including the works by B.Douno, J.S. Bach, A. Vivaldi, F. Schubert, J. Massenet, and P. Tchaikovsky.

About the artist:

Yoana Strateva graduated from the Music Conservatory in Sofia and specialized in violin and chamber music in France.   She is a laureate of several international competitions.
She is a professor of violin and chamber music at the New Bulgarian University.  Yoana has given concerts in England, Greece, France, USA, the Netherlands, Morocco and other countries.   She has been featured on a variety of Beinsa Douno CD’s:  “Duet Esoteric” with Peter Ganev, “Paneurhythmy” with her son, Bozhidar, and “Music on Violin and Guitar”with Petyo Tzanov.

ABOUT MC Mill (formerly MC Mondays):

MC Mill are curated by Milica Paranosic. Open mic portion is an optional inclusion to each program, but the acts must be previously screened.

We feature variety of performance disciplines including music (all genres), video, poetry, dance, performance art, interdisciplinary performances and book launches.
